The Victoria Seawolves are running a fall program for 18U AAA, to build on the success from our 2021 season and to continue improving for the upcoming 2022 baseball season. This program is open for players with the birth years 2004, 2005 and 2006. The Seawolves participate in a competitive wood bat league running March through August. The 40+ game schedule includes travel to the lower mainland, interior and up-island as the team competes to advance to the Provincial Championship.
The fall program will include on field practices, batting cage sessions, plus some weekend games on the island. Field practices are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Rotary Park (next tot he airport) starting at 4:30pm on Tuesday August 31st.
In addition, this fall we are looking to book into the “Richmond Fall Classic” tournament, as well as the “Cubs Fall Classic” weekend tournament in Campbell River. Dates for these tournaments are currently being confirmed.
Coaches will work with players on their skill development in all areas of the game (speed, fielding, pitching, hitting for power and contact). In addition, these practice and game sessions are an opportunity for coaches to see players in action leading up to our team selection for the 2022 season.
To assist in covering the cost for the fall program will be $300 + travel and clothing for new players.
